wild Hopes floral studiO!
What do you feel makes you an inclusive supplier?
My floristry practice is an extension of myself, and I (un)consciously bring my queerness into what I create. I aim to provide moments of joy for my community through flowers, and what better place than a queer wedding!
I want couples to feel understood and seen from the get-go, no need to over-explain your pronouns or gender to me (I get how exhausting that can be). I think beyond gender binaries in my work, understanding of how your wedding flowers can help empower your gender expression is of upmost importance.
I am also neurodivergent and always aim to be understanding of the access needs and accommodations I can make for my clients if applicable!
What do you feel sets you apart from other suppliers?
Honestly, me! My highly personal approach really sets me apart - I am pretty emotionally invested in the couples I work with. I’m here step of the way, communicating as regularly as my clients need. I’m here to listen to the full love story, and cry tears of joy with them when they receive their flowers on the day.
I love workshopping concepts with clients, whether they have a full Pinterest vision already formed, a colour palette in mind, or just one word to describe what they’d like - sometimes this is where the most exciting ideas come from! I embrace natural imperfection in shapes and forms, my designs have a wildflower-vibe, but I’m down to create anything the heart desires, with the wild Hopes touch.
I love to incorporate the queer history of flowers into my work too, it’s so fascinating how we queers would communicate to each other through flowers in the past!
I aim to make something beautiful and personal to your story, no matter your budget too. I understand how expensive weddings can be, the pressure to have everything perfect, it’s my job to make it work for you and give you plenty of options.
