What do you feel makes you an inclusive supplier?
Being a part of the LGBTQ+ community myself, inclusivity is something I genuinely understand, not just something I promote.
I know how important it is to feel comfortable, respected, and completely yourself each day and especially on your wedding day. I never make assumptions, I listen carefully to what each couple wants, and I create a calm, supportive environment where people can relax and be present.
My priority is always to make sure couples feel safe and confident in front of the camera.
What do you feel sets you apart from other suppliers?
As a Queer Owned Business and someone who is newly engaged myself, I truly understand the wedding planning process from both sides. I’m very aware that much of the industry is still built around traditional expectations and may not be tailored to the LGBT community at times, and I work hard to make sure every couple feels seen, represented, and supported in a way that feels right for them.
My approach is very relaxed and unobtrusive. I focus on quietly documenting what’s really happening and directing if and when the couple feels comfortable.
Couples often tell me they barely noticed I was there and loved how I blend in with their guests, which is exactly how I like it. It allows people to be themselves and enjoy their day without feeling as though they are on camera the whole time.
I am invested in telling each couple’s story in an honest, meaningful way that represents their story.
Three sentences to describe what you do
I document weddings as they naturally unfold and focus on the genuine moments of the day.
I ensure the day is captured in a meaningful way that represents the couples story.
I then turn these moments into story-led films that they can relive for years.
Time for a very Serious question we have asked our suppliers…
(Nail biting stuff)
IN A POST APOCALYPTIC WORLD, YOU ARE BEING CHASED BY THE MONSTER MUNCH MONSTER.
THE OVERWHELMING STENCH OF PICKLED ONION HAS MADE YOUR NOSTRIL HAIRS CURL. WHAT IS YOUR WEAPON OF CHOICE TO END THIS TORTURE ONCE AND FOR ALL?
OUR QUESTION:
ANSWER:
I’d absolutely pretend I was brave for about five seconds, realise I wasn’t, and then use the nearest packet of Monster Munch as a distraction while I escaped.
