Le CakePop Kitchen!
What do you feel makes you an inclusive supplier?
For me, being an inclusive supplier isn’t just about saying ‘I’m inclusive’ it’s about working in ways that actively make people feel seen, safe & respected. Whether that’s using gender neutral language, avoiding assumptions about ‘traditions’, or showing diversity in my work through my clients, my goal is to make sure no one feels the need to explain themselves.
Cake - just like love - is delicious in all forms.
What do you feel sets you apart from other suppliers?
I’ve never ever chased numbers - whether that’s follower count, or proving that I’m ’booked and busy’.
I’ve grown my business very organically and I’m really proud of that!
The validation for me comes from the clients who have been using me on repeat for 10 years - who I’ve seen every big life event with (engagements, weddings, babies and more - I’ve even done a few divorce parties!). It’s the clients who come via recommendations from friends, families, and other suppliers. Trusted sources who say my name in a room I’m not in. I’ll chase that feeling over having thousands of followers.
